Death Valley

So, Easter is all about Spring, and rebirth, new life... of course the best place to spend it is Death Valley. A nice thing about Death Valley (as opposed to other National Parks) is that you get to tromp all over the natural wonders that you are there to see. There are no boardwalks with signs telling you to stay on the path. The biggest hit with the boys was playing in the sand dunes. (And you thought their favorite would be touring the "don't touch anything, don't even chew gum in here" historic mansion, didn't you?)
Let's go!
Ready, jump!
Nathaniel gets the most air.
...and we have touchdown.

Visited Scotty's Castle (real name is Death Valley Ranch).
20-mule train wagon for hauling borax out of Death Valley - so we can make slime with Elmer's glue.
